Young people from Vibes have been telling The Children’s Commissioner, Maggie Atkinson their concerns.

They met up with her as part of The Democracy Project set up by Coventry City Council.

Topics they raised with Dr Atkinson include education, employment issues, lack of appropriate mental health services and the negative effects of labelling.

After the event at Coventry Council House, The Children’s Commissioner will now feedback their views to the House of Commons.

Maggie Atkinson was invited by Coventry Youth Council to meet young people from across the city. Groups who attended include Vibes, Grapevine and The Voices of Care Council.
